You may enroll for the class at at the same time you enroll for your other classes or if space is still available you may get a yellow card after enrollment and prior to the weekend.
The French Immersion Weekend is listed in the fall schedule of classes and contains the schedule number for the class. It is required that you obtain a yellow card for the class from Professor Ron Manning (rmanning@truman.edu; (660)-785-4018; Baldwin Hall 274.) In addition to regular tuition fees for the 1 hour class, there will be a $40 fee assessed to cover food and lodging expenses.
Catalog description of the course:
FREN 232 - French Immersion Weekend 1 hour This course allows students to participate in a number of language-intensive activities (games, skits, songs) as well as cultural activities (French pétanque, French card games, meal preparations) while communicating only in French. Prerequisites - Intermediate proficiency: have completed or be concurrently enrolled in French 221, or the equivalent. |
