Meet our German Faculty, including native instructors, with areas of expertise in foreign language learning and teaching, language testing, applied linguistics, business German, contemporary culture, and German literature.

Studying German

German courses are offered at elementary, intermediate, and advanced levels.  A German culture course, taught in English, is also offered. Beyond the advanced level, students may take courses in literature, civilization, translation, economics, and politics.

German Immersion Weekend

The German Immersion Weekend offers students a chance to play, eat, work and live in German; participants receive one hour's credit and twenty-four hours' fun!

German Club

The German club consists of weekly conversation tables, a service learning project (with the Amish) and other cultural activities.
